I slip your hand off my shoulder

and hold it in my hands-

as I hold a flower

as I hold a butterfly, or

a nestling with great care.

Rare its feelings-

you move your hand a bit

though you are not trying

to pull out it,

and I grasp it,

press it more eagerly-

totally that might be called-

playing hide and seek-

through which we touch

each other's hearts,

talk to each other's minds-

that makes two of us-

creating a sweet symphonic chorus!
